Description

The Meridian Marauder is a Meridian ship in Polycon EV.

"The Marauder Jkinphor class light frigate was originally built by Jjolinnar shipyards to serve as a light patrol craft for the Meridian military. Unfortunately the crafts armor and shields were far too thin compared to the other craft in the Meridian forces.To recoup their development costs, Jjolinnar repackaged the craft as a courier ship, and sold it on the open market. The Marauder is one of the fastest ships Jjolinnar has ever built, to counter the Meridians lagging engine technology, the ship was designed with an unusually large engine to ship ratio. This gives the craft the speed of the Sorhal and Polycon shiprights ships, but makes it much easier to destroy. Any critical hit on the large exposed engines can cause massive damage." ― Buying a Marauder
