- Fed Viper Bay, what these pilots were flying before they defected. Honestly, the state of Fed fighter bays is reason enough to defect.
- Pirate Viper Bay, a similarly illegal (though generally superior) bay
Gameplay[]
The Rebel Viper Bay is similar to the Pirate Viper bay. Both Vipers use the same weapons and have similar shielding, though the Rebel Viper's shields are slightly stronger and it keeps fighting for longer before being disabled.
The Pirate Viper Bay still wins in terms of capacity, weight and launch speed, though.

Rebel Viper Bay on a Rebel Destroyer
"Mr. Donald Chick and his engineers have spent years trying to adapt the enormous fighter bays so that they can be fitted into the relatively small ships that the Rebels have managed to get their hands on. With it, you will be able to hold and launch up to four of the upgraded Rebel Vipers. As far as adaptive engineering solutions go, this one certainly stands up well..."
A Rebel Viper Bay can be acquired from Rebel II, Rebel I or even Misfire and Bloodstone. You must be on good terms with the Rebellion to be able to buy these.

Rebel Viper and a Rebel Destroyer
"When General (ret) Cade 'Sundown' Smart defected to the Rebellion, he brought with him plans for all Federation vessels, and also intelligence on many ships used by other governments. With this in hand, Donald Chick and his engineers set to work building and upgrading existing ships. The resulting variant of the Viper is virtually unmatched anywhere in space."
A maxxed out load of Rebel Vipers will set you back 1.6M.
